TRACEY EMIN: NEON ART

Tracey Emin is easily one of the most controversial artists belonging to the YBA, well known for her life-inspired works and her wide range of media, including painting, drawing, photography, installation and needlework. She's known not to hold back in her work and often displays things as they truly are in works such as 'My Bed' (1998).

Emin has been creating her neon pieces since the early 1990's, imitating handwritten messages of her own, often focusing on thoughts and feelings about her loves, fears and disappointments. She's done many exhibitions displaying her neon works that I imagine are incredible to attend.
